I see a clear theme when I look back at my recent Facebook posts. The themes include business growth, teamwork, resilience, and everyday reflections. These things remind me why I run my business the way I do. My page offers practical insights, lived experiences, and honest reflections. These are the very things my clients and community connect with most.
Business Growth, Delegation & the Role of an Online Business Manager
One of the biggest lessons I’ve been sharing is that small business owners don’t have to do everything themselves. In fact, trying to juggle admin, client work, and growth tasks alone is the fastest road to burnout.
That’s where a Virtual Assistant (VA) or Online Business Manager (OBM) steps in. I’ve posted about the well-established UK VA industry. The industry has experienced professionals who understand not just admin. They also understand operations, systems, and compliance (hello GDPR!).
My message has been clear: delegating isn’t a weakness, it’s a strategy. Entrepreneurs reclaim time by outsourcing routine tasks. They can also focus on growth and innovation by bringing in an OBM to oversee operations.
Teamwork On and Off the Court
I also shared something more personal—my return to netball after years away. Playing goalkeeper again reminded me how natural teamwork feels. The trust, communication, and resilience you need in sport are the same qualities businesses need to thrive.
It struck a chord because it’s true. Just like you can’t score a goal alone, you can’t grow a business alone. Clients don’t just hire me for admin support. They hire me for partnership. I understand when to lead. I know when to support and when to guard the goal.
Boundaries, Psychology & Protecting Your Energy
A thread that runs through my posts is mental health awareness and the impact of toxic behaviors. I’ve written candidly about narcissism, manipulation, and the importance of protecting your boundaries—both in business and in life.
This ties back to working with clients too. A healthy business relationship is built on respect, communication, and clear expectations. Without those, growth becomes impossible.
Creativity, AI & Tools for Entrepreneurs
Not all posts have been heavy—I’ve also shared new creative projects, like launching my Etsy digital downloads (Daily Energy Tracker, anyone?) and talking about how AI tools can streamline workflows and boost productivity.

Entrepreneurs often underestimate how much clarity and energy they gain by using the right tools. You can automate repetitive admin tasks. You can track your energy or use AI for smarter content creation. The goal is always the same: more focus, less overwhelm.

Reflection
Looking back, my posts aren’t just “content.” They’re pieces of me. They reflect my ethos as an Online Business Manager. They show my belief in teamwork, my boundaries, and my creativity.
That’s the beauty of showing up honestly online—you don’t just market your services, you build trust and authority. There’s one takeaway from my posts. It’s this: the messy mix of professional insight and personal truth isn’t a weakness. It’s exactly what makes us relatable. That’s what builds real connections.
